Sigma Alpha Epsilon at the University of Texas at Tyler proudly invites you to join us for the Men’s Mental Health 5K, an event dedicated to raising awareness, fostering conversation, and supporting mental wellness among men. This 5K is more than just a race — it’s a movement to break the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and encourage open dialogue about the importance of seeking help and maintaining emotional well-being.
The event will take place on the UT Tyler campus on November 20th, beginning at 3:00pm. Participants will enjoy a scenic run or walk through campus, with refreshments, music, and community engagement at the finish line. Awards will be given to finishers and those showing the most spirit. Local mental health organizations will also be present with informational booths and resources to help connect students and community members with available support services.
All proceeds from the Men’s Mental Health 5K will go toward mental health advocacy and support programs for men. Sigma Alpha Epsilon encourages everyone, students, alumni, faculty, and community members to get involved by running, walking, volunteering, or donating. Together, we can make a meaningful impact and help ensure that no one struggles in silence.
